yUmMy YOguRT~~

Salam and hello to everyone..

Here I would like to share with all of you on topic of ‘Yummy Yogurt” which is on of my favorites. Have you noticed that the yogurt section of most grocery stores has practically taken over the dairy aisle? It’s getting harder to find more traditional dairy foods, such as cottage cheese and sour cream, amid the sea of yogurt options. But it only makes sense that a food with as many health benefits as yogurt be given prime real estate in the supermarket.

And just what are the health benefits of yogurt? For your information, it’s benefit beyond the nutritional.

First off, our body needs to have a healthy amount of ''good'' bacteria in the digestive tract, and many yogurts are made using active, good bacteria. One of the words you’ll be hearing more of in relation to yogurt is ''probiotics.'' Probiotic, which literally means ''for life,'' refers to living organisms that can result in a health benefit when eaten in adequate amounts.
In fact, the health benefits of yogurt are so impressive that many health-conscious people make it a daily habit. Here are five possible health benefits of having a yogurt a day. Firstly, yogurt may help prevent of osteoporosis. 'Adequate nutrition plays a major role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, and the micronutrients of greatest importance are calcium and vitamin D. As we know, yogurt is enriching with calcium and also vitamins.

Next, it is essential to be consumed as it may reduce high blood pressure. An observation have done shown that 50% reduction in the risk of developing high blood pressure among people eating 2-3 servings of low-fat dairy a day (or more), compared with those without any intake of it. Although it is mentioned that the samples are taking low-fat dairy in this research, but low-fat yogurt is also include in it. Thirdly, yogurt with active cultures helps the gut and may solve many gastrointestinal conditions such as lactose intolerance, constipation, diarrhea, colon cancer, and inflammatory bowel system. Besides, active cultures in yogurt may discourage of vaginal infection which a common problem among the diabetes women. Another benefit is yogurt may help you feel fuller. Those who had the yogurt snacks did not eat fewer calories at the next meal and it resulted in lower hunger ratings and higher fullness ratings than either of the other snacks. Thus, yogurt makes a perfect snack!

Eventually, I hope that all of you got some new information and starts to find yogurt right now!!! Hmm..yummy yogurt… (‘’,)

With that..I thank you.. =]

All the best for exam!!!

A piece of my thinking..

Salam and hi to everyone..

Fuhh..an ocean of topic we have here. It seems like I did not afford to give a comment on each topic. Its 19 Syawal today, so it is still ‘Hari Raya’!!! To Madam and friends, I wish ‘Selamat Hari Raya’ and sorry for any mistakes that I have made.

Firstly I would like to comment upon the Aisyah’s topic which is about tips to study. As we are struggling in the corner of the coming examination, we need to consider her points. In other words, we need to find a really good and effective way of study in order to catch up with our heavily burden course. Like Aisyah stated, it’s true that all of us are made differently so as our style of study. But somehow, we should know our strength and adjust it with our style or way of study. Some of people may good in memorizing the picture, and some may in wording. What is important is, we must focus and committed of what we are going to do.

Next, I would discuss about organ donation from Ying Ying. To me, organ donation is the most honorable charity in the world as there a few of people who are willing to sacrifice their own organs to others especially to somebody that did not have any relationship with them. But most of it is donor from family members or relatives as it is more suits to the recipient.

Upon Adila’s posting about the exercise, I attracted with the walking exercise as it can help to improve our heart health. Besides that, it can also strengthen up our feet. Thus, I hope that I can follow the good ideas of it and let’s exercise!!!

That’s all for this time..thank you..=]

This was posted in August but I put it in Yong's comment.

In my point of view, PTPTN online application has it own advantage and disadvantage. As the government try to make the application to be more sophisticated towards the globalization world today, it leads to many consequences to the applicants over the Malaysia.
On the good side, as Airina had mentioned before, PTPTN online can make students or applicants be more educated and full of skills on using this Information Technology (IT) whether they are live in urban area or even the rural area. Technology of computer can be denied as the most important gadget over the world nowadays. For a student like us, it is necessary to know the basic of computer at least using the Microsoft Word. What would happen if the lecturer gives a task and they are compulsory to do it with computer? Sooner or later, they have to learn it. So, it is good to start as soon as possible.
In addition, most of the applications such as loan and scholarship right now are intend to do it online. However, applicants must know the disadvantage of this online application and hence we must be patient with it. Several common problems that occur while applying the PTPTN are wrong password, unable to log in, and etc. like Yong has stated. I also had experienced these kinds of problems before where I could not log in and it is stated that I did not get the loan but the Ministry of High Education has already gives the password. In a nutshell, I think that the problem of PTPTN online has it own benefit and disadvantage. Moreover, I hope that the government will upgrade the system so it will be more efficient and convenient.
That’s all from me..
Thank you.. =]

hehe.....it have been two week from the holiday , so fast the time is going on without consciousness.......today i have another issue about drug addiction that i want to share to share..

In my opinion, drug addiction is a condition characterized by compulsive drug intake, craving and seeking, despite what the majority of society may perceive as the negative consequences associated with drug use...
I am totally agreed with yana opinion. If one person abuse or become addicted to drug ,so bad effect will indirectly come to them. The drug may create a wide variety of mental and physical health problems in a person such as fatigue, headache, nausea and irritability. All this bad symptoms indirectly will affect our daily life activity.
why i have such idea?? This is because the drug addict person normally or mostly will easily have hot- temper than an normal human being. In doing some work, them can not think peacefully or don't think twice l,so mostly when they meet the problem, them cant handle it well if compare to a normal person...
Beside that ,some composition in drug such as caffeine, nicotine, hallucinogen and barbiturate. All this substance are very harmful to our body. For example, caffeine found in coffee, tea, soft drinks, cocoa, and in some over-the-counter drugs such as pain killers, diet pills, cough and cold remedies, high doses may cause nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, headaches, nervousness or agitation, and the shakes. In an additional to headaches and nervousness.,caffeine may increase rates of miscarriage and low birth weight.
So ,i think ,the drug addiction is harmful to our body health,is the fact we can not deny.
But , we also can give the such suggestion that although being addicted implies drug dependence , it is possible to be dependent on a drug without being addicted. People that take drugs to treat diseases and disorders, which interfere with their ability to function, may experience improvement of their condition.Such persons are dependent on the drug, but are not addicted. One is addicted, rather than merely dependent, if one exhibits compulsive behavior towards the drug and has difficulty quitting it.
Finally,i concluded that drug is harmful is beng abused. Its disadvantages is far more than its advantages, so the parent today must give more attention on thier children for preventing them from drug abuse .Then ,them finally be a member of drug addicts......

GOALS IN LIFE

Hi are not exercising regularly and her advice hopefully help you.Besides that eat balanced diet especially fresh fruits to ensure a good health.
Hei before I forget did you guys hear about the incident about two policemen were shot dead during a drug raid in Sungai Buluh. So terribeveryone. Glad to hear again from you all after Raya. I found your comments and postings are really good, the drug, exercise and first Malaysian to space. But Adila’s caught me the most. I see that most dental students le that the criminals no longer fear of police.I can’t imagine what will happen to our nation if this kind of incident keeps escalating.
Ok let’s move to the main topic I want to share with you friends. It sounds quit interesting for me and be for you too if you read. Guess want? Alright there’s no more suspends. Its about goals in life. Goals are objectives or aims that we have set for ourselves which we hope to achieve within a given time frame. We may have long-term goals like career ambitions or dreams to fulfill which may take years and great effort. While short-term goals are usually simple tasks which we would like to achieve over a short period of time, for example, to complete an assignment from class before end of day.
To be successful in life, we should have goals and make it a point to achieve them. Achieving a goal can be one of the most rejoining and fulfilling times in your life. It helps to raise your self-esteem and gives you the confidence you need to spur you on for greater and more challenging goals. Many achievements made by the great and famous people can be attributed to goals which seemed impossible. Thomas Alwa Edisson, for example had invented electric light and thousands other inventions like telegraph machine beyond his own peoples expectations. He achieved his goal after several unsuccessful attempts which took many years, trials and errors.
We often set goals which we believe are achievable and desirable. Yet we sometimes fail to achieve them. We find the process of realizing these goals arduous and painful, so we give up. Lack of confidence and fear of taking chance are other reasons for our defeat.
Most individuals have their own way of achieving goals. Some people agree putting their goals down on a pierce of paper is one way of assessing the task involved in achieving them. It is common for people to write their new year resolution in a brand new diary. Writing our goals commits us to them and they also serve as motivating remainders when we feel like giving up.
Another method that helps us achieve our goals is picturing ourselves having achieved
It.We imagine ourselves savouring the victory. Our sense of achievement would be very strong and lighten up. I would prefer the second method as it is more ideal.
Goals give directions to our lives. When we know what we want and acknowledge our limits, we make our life more meaningful and fulfilling. Besides raising our own self-esteem, it motivate others like our little brothers or sisters to follow in our footsteps.
Our mission for success lie in everything we do. So don’t wait for things to happen but make it happen.
Mmmmm, that will do for now. I’m so tired and till we meet again tata bye bye.

Easy Exercise Solution

EASY EXERCISE SOLUTION=If you think you won't see any real benefits from physical activity, think again.Regular exercise gives you more energy, reduces stress, and help you to sleep better. It helps to lower high blood pressure and improves blood cholesterol levels. It helps to tone your muscles, burns calories to help you lose extra pounds or maintain a healthy weight, and help control your appetite. It can also increase muscle strength, help your heart and lungs work more efficiently, and let you enjoy your life more fully......
There's more good news:You don't have to spend hours at gym to see results.Low-to-moderate intensity activities such as walking, stair climbing, yard work and dancing can have both short and long term benefits. If you are inactive, the key is to get started. One great way is to take a walk for 10 to15 minutes during your lunch break...At least 30 minutes of daily activity can help improve your heart health.
It take only a few minutes a day to become more physically active. If you don't have 30 minutes in your schedule, try find two 15 minutes period or even three 10 minutes periods. These exercise breaks will soon become a habit you can't live without.....

Once again we meet here at the same blog, same person but in different issue (^_^). Before that, Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslim. Hopefully this Syawal gives you lots of happy moment to be shared with others. Its still early today 10syawal 148h.so, everybody use your precious time to go and visit all your neighbours, relatives and friends .Malaysia is very rich in various kind of foods especially during Hari Raya such as ketupat, lemang, kuah kacang and also lots of ‘kuih raya’(^_^)yummy… but recently during first hari raya, I cannot forget when my family and I went to visit one of my father’s friend house, they had served western food and there is no hari raya foods.huhu.. When I ate it, its like you are visiting your friend house at foreign country and eating their western foods… I think that’s the moment that I cannot forget when the first time ate western foods during first hari raya. In Malaysia also, not only its various kind of food but also lots of open house along hari raya is opened to all Malaysians that at the same time increases the closeness and maintain the peace and harmony. This open house was a testimony to the Malaysian spirit of respecting each other’s culture. As for me, for other races, by visiting Muslim friends on this occasion, it will be able to forge a closer relationship. This is our uniqueness and I think we should continue to observe this because occasion like hari raya showed how much Malaysians cherished each other.

While celebrating this hari raya, not to forget our first Malaysian astronaut which is Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor went to the space and celebrate his first hari raya on space! At last, dr.muszaphar had made proud to Malaysia by being the first Malaysians went to space. Like what prime minister said that he is not in space to enjoy the view of earth below but has duties to fulfil while at the International Space Station. This also as one of the big step towards becoming a developed country, which we will be in 2020. Even thought that Dr Faiz is not the choosen one for the first group, but then, he will be send as the second person to join the space programmes of other countries. Congrats to both of them because had made proud to Malaysia (^_^) of course that dr muszaphar has lot of experiences that he like to share with Malaysians. We just wait and see and take it as the precious things that not that easy we can get it. I’m proud to be Malaysians(^_^)

at last, aisyah finally gave a good tips on how to study as a dental student:p actually when we talk about study, ourself must try to focus on what we are going to do.. for me i try to limit my time by studying 2hours only but sometimes there must be an obstacle while studying.. its normal because if we straight study without rest, there is no mean with what we have done.. our brain and body also need rest.. not too late here i want to say that i think that not more than 1month we will have an exam.. until now i still remember that when i had done group discussion with my friend, i felt very asleep but then i try to work hard, study and study..at last i don't know when i slept.. my friend just laugh at me..so embarrassing..huhuhu.. till today, when i want to study but suddenly i feeel very asleep, i just went to my bed and go to sleep:) actually how to study is depends on each person.. they have their own style on how to study.. so, from now on study smart not hard!! and not to forget good luck to all my friends to our final exam;) lets pray for both o our success.. -yuhana-

Hai everyone.......!!!

Drug??? I am also agree with Yana said that drug abuse is becoming a serious problem among students in Malaysia. The drug addiction trend is not only prevalent among school leavers but also among students. There are many people and organizations in our culture who are trying very hard to make sure that Drug Addiction is NOT seen as a disease or as the result of genetic or biological predisposition. These people have a strong personal and social interest in an entirely nonphysiological model of addictive human behavior. Their perspective of social problems is based primarily on a philosophical orientation with a social perspective, heralding socio-political correctness as its goal.

Throughout history, and from my observation also, a great many people and institutions have tried to help alcoholics and addicts. Currently, there are thousands of different programs in Malaysia trying to help those people who have a social or personal problem with drugs or alcohol. Yet, the success rate for these programs is extraordinarily low considering the effort and investment made.

There are countless reasons why these programs are not working, however the main reason is yet to be realized. Existing programs are not working because they're based on false assumptions of philosophy and human nature. They do not address the motivations and emotions of addictions.

Today, drug treatment and rehabilitation centers are typically operating on the belief that social or philosophical factors are causing the addictive behavior, and that if we could change an addict's belief system, or his social support structure we could end his addictive behavior. And yet, the success an individual attains, typically doesn't last as long as the treatment. This superficial view comes from our governmental and religious orientations which maintain that addiction is the result of bad personal choices, weak character, and anti-social or irreligious behaviors. The rehabilition centre also operating in some university to detect their student who are involve in drug addiction.

Sociologists, religious adherents, and government agents see addictive behavior as being criminal or sinful. These kinds of social judgments do little to help the addict, yet, they do cause harm, making the addict feel shameful, weak, or helpless. Suddenly he feels like a child who wets the bed, or cant control his impulse to explore, and then is shamed or punished. Trying to demand or force a behavior which is in direct conflict with the natural drives and motivations of the individual is dangerous....Lastly,I hope that this serious problem can be solved successfully and we as good student and have many friends must be alert on this issue....

That's all from me....
thank you...

HELLO Everyone ! Emm...It is not too late for me to wish Mdm Faridah and my friends, “SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI”
This is my third time posting a comment. Due to the issue brought up by Ying Ying on SHOULD homosexual marriage be legalised??? ... I would say that its must be legalised !!!
From the Statement of Affirmation and Reconciliation by the Quaker meeting in Aotearoa,
“Each individual's journey through life is unique. Some will make this journey alone, others in loving relationships - maybe in marriage or other forms of commitment. We need to ponder our own choices and try to understand the choices of others. Love has many shapes and colors and is not finite. It cannot be measured or defined in terms of sexual orientation."
From the statement above, it’s true that everyone has the rights to make their own choice and in accepting choices of others but it is considered as long as it is not against the religious practices. I believe that every religion have the reasons for prohibiting things that may lead to harm.
Marriage is a social recognition and approval..of a couple's engaging in sexual intercourse and bearing and rearing children.. it’s mean that the heterosexual unions provide the procreative foundation of the family unit that is the chief social building block of civilization. Just like what Ying Ying had mentioned, marriage is more than recognising people who love each other and want to spend their lives together. Through marriage, the society marks out the relationship of two people who will together transmit human life to the next generation and nurture and protect that life and without a shadow of doubt, homosexual marriage wouldn't ensure that..
The point that homosexual partnership is inherently sterile as no one can neither choose nor change their sexual orientation. It is against the marriage concept on bearing and rearing children for the next generation. Can we imagine the world without kids? Or abandon partners with the same sex? I’m sure it will be horrify looking at the couples. Of course it’s not a good practice and values that can be shown to the children. What will they think about it? Just ask ourselves, do we want the children to follow that bad attitude? Obviously it’s against the religious practices and indirectly against God’s creation. God had created us as what we should be. We shouldn’t change the fact.

I ‘m not really understood with Brian. He doesn’t agree and not oppose homosexual marriage as their lifestyle is out of the norm and it is indeed ethically wrong. But later he said that he don’t want to be one sided and just follow the flow. In my opinion, yes it’s true that we don’t have the rights to judge them as all of us are the creation of god. But as a human we are responsible to fix what is wrong and prevent thing that is not right.

Well, this is what I think and my opinion regarding this issue. I’m sure that other peoples have their own opinion. Till then, thank you. Have a nice day! -NIK FATIN SARAH A116830-

ORGAN DONATION

Organ donation is the removal of the organs or tissues of the human body from a person who has recently died, or from a living donor, for the purpose of transplanting them into other persons. People of all ages may be organ and tissue donors. Organ and tissue donation is the ultimate humanitarian act of charity.

The commonly transplanted organs are kidneys, heart, liver, lungs and pancreas
(currently no pancreas transplant has been done in Malaysia) while the transplantable tissues are cornea (eyes), arteries or veins, intestines, tendons, ligaments ,bones, skin and heart valves.

There are two sources of organ donation, which are from the living donors or from cadaveric donors. Most living donors were closely related to the
recipient, usually family members. Such close relatives were likely to have
close tissue match to the recipient, resulting in excellent outcomes. It is now possible to achieve similar outcomes using living
donors who are unrelated to the recipient, but only emotionally related such as
spouses are sometimes found to have a compatible blood group and tissue
match to the potential recipient, with the advent of improved immunosuppressive medications (anti-rejection medications).

Other than that, organs from cadaveric donors are allocated to the best tissue matched patients on the transplant waiting list. Potential cadaveric donors with a history of cancer or transmissible viruses such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV are not considered for organ donation. There are 2 sources of cadaveric donors, which are the heart-beating donors and the non heart-beating donors.

The heart-beating donors have suffered severe trauma to the brain. These patients must be ventilated in an intensive care unit and medically certified as 'brain stem" dead (meaning that all functions of the brain have ceased), in order to be considered as organ donors. In other words, life cannot be sustained. Heart beat and lung function are artificially maintained by a respirator. Heart, kidney and liver transplants are only possible from heart beating donors. For non heart-beating donors, tissue such as cornea (eye), skin and heart valves are donated. These tissues can only be procured after cardiac death.

However, there are more advantages of receiving organs or tissues from living donors. Firstly, it reduces time dependent on dialysis, particularly important for diabetics and young children. It also allows for specific planning of operation(the best time for donor and recipient). Moreover, the recipient requires less immunosuppressive drugs, therefore having fewer side effects. Lastly, it is more likely to be successful if the donor is related to the recipient.

hai..

Salam and hello to everyone…..!!!!

Today I want to share with all of you some tips to study. Maybe most of you have your own study style and maybe this is your secret how you success in your study. As we know, the dentistry course needs us to study more than our expectation. We need to study like a medical doctor although we just see teeth in our future occupation. So we need a good study technique in order to pass the entire exam with flying colors.

Try to make your study table as a conducive place to study. Get away all the mess that will make become uncomfortable. Make your table tidy and just put the book that you want to study. Put other heavy and thick book at your rack. When your study table is not in a good condition, you can focus on what you are studies, unless you are a messy person.

Many of us like to listening a radio while studying. I don’t care you are listening fly.fm. hot.fm ,era.fm or your own mp3… as long as you are listening a music. I have read in some book that told us about the badness to listening music while studying. He said that our brain can not focus and accept that entire thing we are read effectively. But we can listen a music that has no voice of singer,I mean here, only a tone of music equipment. It will relax your mind. For Muslim, it is better to listening the Al Quran while you are studying. It will help you to memorize better.

While you are studying, try to take more attention with the parts which are not understood. Read with your own first and then try to discuss with your friend. This is important to make sure that you are not misunderstood with what you have reads before. Jot some key words and important point and this will not make you miss that thing when you revise it again.

Don’t forget to take some rest while you are studying. Take a rest about 5 to 10 minutes to relax your mind. You can take a short nap or make some activity that will refresh your mind. Our brain also need to rest. I want to give some advice to all of you….”don’t sleep while your ear are listening a radio”. Your body is rest, but your brain needs to work to interpret what you are listen.

You need to choose the best time to study. The best time to study is at the morning after you wake up from the sleep. Your brain is much active and you can digest what you have read easily. Don’t stay at night because we need enough sleep. Try to sleep early and also wake up early at the morning. But, this is depends on person, some like to study at night, some like to study at day. No matter what time, as long as you can study properly.

Last but not least, don’t easily give up while studying because we need to taste the bitter first, then you will taste how sweet it later. Nothing is easy in this world, we need to compete to get the best..so, wake up my friend. Are you still dreaming????
~aisyah~

hellloooo....

Salam and hello to everyone…

I don’t know to write about what in our blog. This is bcoz it is a long time I didn’t open our blog..hehe its may about a month..i just want to share with all of you about our national issue which is the problem that are very common in every student nowadays.
The problem is they like to play truant..in easy words, they don’t want to go to school anymore.

If we look back to our old generation, only a few of people can go to school which their family able to send them to the school. Unfortunately, our millennium generation are prefer to stay at home or go to everywhere than go to the school. They don’t like to go to school anymore although their parents had paid a lots of money to send them to school..
How could this happen? Everybody knows that education is important in order to get a bright future. There are some reasons why nowadays many students like to play truant.

One of the reasons is most of them have not interest to study anymore. They think study is useless and they can replace their time to study with other activity which is more exciting like surfing internet and playing games. Maybe their parents have enough money and they think it is adequate to support them until they become old. If they have no more interest to study, how could they accept all the things that teacher teach them at school? Thye will not pay attention during the class. Teacher need play an important role to make them more interest to study. They should make the academic session will become more exciting and more student will pay more attention.

Besides that, their parents also don’t take care about their children. Most of them are busy with their work and don’t have enough time to discuss any problems with their children.
Most of the student which is still growing and not matured anymore needs full attention of their parents. They need a lot of love and take care. If their parents are busy to work and have no time to spend with their children, their children will become out of hand.
Therefore, parents need to become more responsible in train their children.

Moreover, most of the student like to play truant because the education system is quite burden to them. Many things need to study in short time. This will cause them become stress and give up to study. Our ministry of education need to investigate about the education system and improve it to make sure it is suitable to the level of each student.

The last reasons which I can include here is the influence of friends. Besides teacher and parents, fried also play an important role in character the student attitude. If they find good friends, the percentage of the student to become a good student is also high. They will like to go to school to be friend with other. Besides that, they are some bully cases in school and this will cause student afraid to attend the class. The bully case is very familiar with the junior and senior.

Before I finish, I hope my entire friend didn’t play truant. We as the university students is matured enough to think which is good and which is bad. Just attend the class and we will get the benefits for aou whole life..~aisyah~(“,)…

drug addiction

Hai everybody, and first of all for the Muslim I want to wish Happy Raya Day and I hope all of you have enjoy your Raya break. As my tradition need I to visit my relatives during Hari Raya, the last 3 days I was visit my hometown and I heard many problems of drug addiction especially in Felda areas like my hometown. Here I want to share my opinion about this problem.
Drug abuse is becoming a serious problem among students in Malaysia. The number of students who take drugs has increased tremendously over the last few years.
How can we recognize drug addict? There are many symptoms of drug addiction. The drug addict normally loses weight and has red, watery eyes and a running nose. Sometimes you can see scratches and marks on his arm. He will also feel very tired most of the time.
There are many effects of drug addiction. The addict usually gets sick because he has no apatite and doesn’t eat enough. He may also have difficulty remembering things, or even concentrating on anything as he cannot think clearly. Continued drug addiction can even caused death. Many young people have died because of drug abuse.
Some people feel that stress causes students to take drugs. They can’t cope with the pressure of school work so they take drugs. Many parents too expect excellent examination results from their children and this causes more stress. The students are also very easily influenced by their friends. They listen to their friends and do what their friends do. Many students have become addicts because they follow their friends. Parents are also to blame for this problem. They are too busy at work or lead active social lives. Thus they don’t spend enough time with their children and so the children feel neglected and unwanted.
Schools do warn the students about the dangers of dangers of drug abuse. However, the mass-media and parents should also do their part to control the spread of drug abuse.-yana-
