From Brian..........

Ying Ying put out an interesting issue. After all, it is the most talked about issue, not just in Malaysia but also in some other countries out there. Yes, no doubts about it, there are homosexuals in Malaysia. “Should we or should we not accept them in our society?” is a question whose answers differ from one individual from another.

My answer would be, “Why not?”

I am a creation of God and I am merely one out of His zillion creations. I don’t feel that I have the rights to judge. They too, are like me, a fellow creation of God. Whatever they did in their lifetime is their business with Him, none of mine, none of yours.

It’s no doubt that their lifestyle is out of the norm and it is indeed ethically wrong, but they decided on the lifestyle and there’s nothing that we can do about it. I don’t agree with what they are doing and at the same time, I don’t oppose them, it just came to me that I’ve reached a point where I don’t want to be one sided and just follow the flow, whatever that means….

About MERDEKA, not of us will ever be MERDEKA, till you decide to be MERDEKA. At our recent point, none of us are. MERDEKA is a country which doesn’t recognize Malay, Chinese, Indian, Dayak, Kadazan Dusun or any other races but rather sees everyone equal but I don’t see this being practice in Malaysia. I myself admit that I can easily get lost in this wrong doing especially when I meet my fellowmen, the Bidayuh.

To be truly MERDEKA takes time. Peace out……
