RACIAL INTEGRATION IN MALAYSIA

HI, FRIENDS!!!! HOW ABOUT YOUR HOLIDAY? DO YOU ENJOY IT? I HOPE SO. :)
I'M NOT SURE WHETHER YOU WILL READ MY OPINION ABOUT RACIAL INTEGRATION IN MALAYSIA BUT I WANT TO SHARE SOMETHING WITH YOU. I GOT THE IDEA TO SHARE ABOUT RACIAL INTEGRATION SEEN SEVERAL UNWANTED INCIDENTS HAPPENED IN OUR COUNTRY RECENTLY.

FIRST OF ALL, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT RACE? IN MY OPINION, RACE IS A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE THEIR OWN BELIEFS, RELIGION, CULTURE AND OTHER PECULIAR CHARACTERISTICS. MEMBERS OF A RACE ARE VERY PROUD OF THEIR RACE AND WOULD DEFEND WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN OR THEIR WAY OF LIFE IF THEY ARE THREATENED IN ANY WAY.

AS WE KNOW, THERE ARE THREE MAJOR RACES HERE IN MALAYSIA, THE MALAYS, THE CHINESE AND THE INDIANS . SO FAR WE HAVE MANAGED VERY WELLTO STAY AS ONE NATION DESPITE OUR DIFFERENCES. ONLY THE MAY 13 INCIDENT IN 1969 SPOILED AN OTHERWISE PERFECT CO-EXISTENCE.

THE PEOPLE OF MALAYSIA HAVE COME A LONG WAY SINCE THE UGLY INCIDENT. MOST HAVE LEARNED THAT RACIAL STRIFE IS INTOLERABLE AND NOT WORTH THE BLOOD SHED. MORE THAN THAT, WE HAVE LEARNED TO HELP THE COUNTRY PROSPER DESPITE ALL THE DIFFCULTIES. WHILE OTHER COUNTRIES ARE ROCKED BY RACIAL RIOTS, WE LIVE IN HARMONY.

HOWEVER THIS LIVING IN HARMONY DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE IS RACIAL INTEGRATION. RACIAL INTEGRATION IS COMBINATION OF ALL THE RACES TO MAKE ONE UNIQUE MALAYSIAN RACE. THE BASIC DIFFICULTY LIES IN THIS PROBLEM; WHICH RACE IS GOING TO GIVE UP ITS CULTURE OR BELIEFS, SO THAT IT SUITS THE OTHER RACES? FROM WHAT I SEE, NO RACE IS GOING TO DO THAT VOLUNTARILY. CULTURE AND RELIGION ARE TOO DEEPLY INGRAINED IN US FROM THE MOMENT WE ARE BORN. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE ONE'S BELIEFS.

SO, WE ARE LIKELY TO CONTINUE TO LIVE IN RACIAL HARMONY, NOT INTERGATION. WE HAVE HAD MANY YEARS OF PRACTICE IN HARMONY SO I SEE NO REASON WHY WE CANNOT GO ON AS USUAL. SO WHILE WE MAY NOT INTEGRATE COMPLETELY, WE HAVE THE NEXT BEST THING- HARMONY. FOR THAT WE SHOULD BE THANKFUL AND, WE ALSO HAVE TO TRY OUR BEST TO MAINTAIN THE HARMONY AMONG OTHER RACES. WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY AGAINST UNWANTED INCIDENTS. HOW ABOUT YOU FRIENDS???? DO YOU AGREE WITH ME??? WHAT IS YOUR OPINION? :) :) ;)

yUmMy YOguRT~~

Salam and hello to everyone..

Here I would like to share with all of you on topic of ‘Yummy Yogurt” which is on of my favorites. Have you noticed that the yogurt section of most grocery stores has practically taken over the dairy aisle? It’s getting harder to find more traditional dairy foods, such as cottage cheese and sour cream, amid the sea of yogurt options. But it only makes sense that a food with as many health benefits as yogurt be given prime real estate in the supermarket.

And just what are the health benefits of yogurt? For your information, it’s benefit beyond the nutritional.

First off, our body needs to have a healthy amount of ''good'' bacteria in the digestive tract, and many yogurts are made using active, good bacteria. One of the words you’ll be hearing more of in relation to yogurt is ''probiotics.'' Probiotic, which literally means ''for life,'' refers to living organisms that can result in a health benefit when eaten in adequate amounts.
In fact, the health benefits of yogurt are so impressive that many health-conscious people make it a daily habit. Here are five possible health benefits of having a yogurt a day. Firstly, yogurt may help prevent of osteoporosis. 'Adequate nutrition plays a major role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, and the micronutrients of greatest importance are calcium and vitamin D. As we know, yogurt is enriching with calcium and also vitamins.

Next, it is essential to be consumed as it may reduce high blood pressure. An observation have done shown that 50% reduction in the risk of developing high blood pressure among people eating 2-3 servings of low-fat dairy a day (or more), compared with those without any intake of it. Although it is mentioned that the samples are taking low-fat dairy in this research, but low-fat yogurt is also include in it. Thirdly, yogurt with active cultures helps the gut and may solve many gastrointestinal conditions such as lactose intolerance, constipation, diarrhea, colon cancer, and inflammatory bowel system. Besides, active cultures in yogurt may discourage of vaginal infection which a common problem among the diabetes women. Another benefit is yogurt may help you feel fuller. Those who had the yogurt snacks did not eat fewer calories at the next meal and it resulted in lower hunger ratings and higher fullness ratings than either of the other snacks. Thus, yogurt makes a perfect snack!

Eventually, I hope that all of you got some new information and starts to find yogurt right now!!! Hmm..yummy yogurt… (‘’,)

With that..I thank you.. =]

All the best for exam!!!

A piece of my thinking..

Salam and hi to everyone..

Fuhh..an ocean of topic we have here. It seems like I did not afford to give a comment on each topic. Its 19 Syawal today, so it is still ‘Hari Raya’!!! To Madam and friends, I wish ‘Selamat Hari Raya’ and sorry for any mistakes that I have made.

Firstly I would like to comment upon the Aisyah’s topic which is about tips to study. As we are struggling in the corner of the coming examination, we need to consider her points. In other words, we need to find a really good and effective way of study in order to catch up with our heavily burden course. Like Aisyah stated, it’s true that all of us are made differently so as our style of study. But somehow, we should know our strength and adjust it with our style or way of study. Some of people may good in memorizing the picture, and some may in wording. What is important is, we must focus and committed of what we are going to do.

Next, I would discuss about organ donation from Ying Ying. To me, organ donation is the most honorable charity in the world as there a few of people who are willing to sacrifice their own organs to others especially to somebody that did not have any relationship with them. But most of it is donor from family members or relatives as it is more suits to the recipient.

Upon Adila’s posting about the exercise, I attracted with the walking exercise as it can help to improve our heart health. Besides that, it can also strengthen up our feet. Thus, I hope that I can follow the good ideas of it and let’s exercise!!!

That’s all for this time..thank you..=]

This was posted in August but I put it in Yong's comment.

In my point of view, PTPTN online application has it own advantage and disadvantage. As the government try to make the application to be more sophisticated towards the globalization world today, it leads to many consequences to the applicants over the Malaysia.
On the good side, as Airina had mentioned before, PTPTN online can make students or applicants be more educated and full of skills on using this Information Technology (IT) whether they are live in urban area or even the rural area. Technology of computer can be denied as the most important gadget over the world nowadays. For a student like us, it is necessary to know the basic of computer at least using the Microsoft Word. What would happen if the lecturer gives a task and they are compulsory to do it with computer? Sooner or later, they have to learn it. So, it is good to start as soon as possible.
In addition, most of the applications such as loan and scholarship right now are intend to do it online. However, applicants must know the disadvantage of this online application and hence we must be patient with it. Several common problems that occur while applying the PTPTN are wrong password, unable to log in, and etc. like Yong has stated. I also had experienced these kinds of problems before where I could not log in and it is stated that I did not get the loan but the Ministry of High Education has already gives the password. In a nutshell, I think that the problem of PTPTN online has it own benefit and disadvantage. Moreover, I hope that the government will upgrade the system so it will be more efficient and convenient.
That’s all from me..
Thank you.. =]

hehe.....it have been two week from the holiday , so fast the time is going on without consciousness.......today i have another issue about drug addiction that i want to share to share..

In my opinion, drug addiction is a condition characterized by compulsive drug intake, craving and seeking, despite what the majority of society may perceive as the negative consequences associated with drug use...
I am totally agreed with yana opinion. If one person abuse or become addicted to drug ,so bad effect will indirectly come to them. The drug may create a wide variety of mental and physical health problems in a person such as fatigue, headache, nausea and irritability. All this bad symptoms indirectly will affect our daily life activity.
why i have such idea?? This is because the drug addict person normally or mostly will easily have hot- temper than an normal human being. In doing some work, them can not think peacefully or don't think twice l,so mostly when they meet the problem, them cant handle it well if compare to a normal person...
Beside that ,some composition in drug such as caffeine, nicotine, hallucinogen and barbiturate. All this substance are very harmful to our body. For example, caffeine found in coffee, tea, soft drinks, cocoa, and in some over-the-counter drugs such as pain killers, diet pills, cough and cold remedies, high doses may cause nausea, diarrhea, insomnia, headaches, nervousness or agitation, and the shakes. In an additional to headaches and nervousness.,caffeine may increase rates of miscarriage and low birth weight.
So ,i think ,the drug addiction is harmful to our body health,is the fact we can not deny.
But , we also can give the such suggestion that although being addicted implies drug dependence , it is possible to be dependent on a drug without being addicted. People that take drugs to treat diseases and disorders, which interfere with their ability to function, may experience improvement of their condition.Such persons are dependent on the drug, but are not addicted. One is addicted, rather than merely dependent, if one exhibits compulsive behavior towards the drug and has difficulty quitting it.
Finally,i concluded that drug is harmful is beng abused. Its disadvantages is far more than its advantages, so the parent today must give more attention on thier children for preventing them from drug abuse .Then ,them finally be a member of drug addicts......

GOALS IN LIFE

Hi are not exercising regularly and her advice hopefully help you.Besides that eat balanced diet especially fresh fruits to ensure a good health.
Hei before I forget did you guys hear about the incident about two policemen were shot dead during a drug raid in Sungai Buluh. So terribeveryone. Glad to hear again from you all after Raya. I found your comments and postings are really good, the drug, exercise and first Malaysian to space. But Adila’s caught me the most. I see that most dental students le that the criminals no longer fear of police.I can’t imagine what will happen to our nation if this kind of incident keeps escalating.
Ok let’s move to the main topic I want to share with you friends. It sounds quit interesting for me and be for you too if you read. Guess want? Alright there’s no more suspends. Its about goals in life. Goals are objectives or aims that we have set for ourselves which we hope to achieve within a given time frame. We may have long-term goals like career ambitions or dreams to fulfill which may take years and great effort. While short-term goals are usually simple tasks which we would like to achieve over a short period of time, for example, to complete an assignment from class before end of day.
To be successful in life, we should have goals and make it a point to achieve them. Achieving a goal can be one of the most rejoining and fulfilling times in your life. It helps to raise your self-esteem and gives you the confidence you need to spur you on for greater and more challenging goals. Many achievements made by the great and famous people can be attributed to goals which seemed impossible. Thomas Alwa Edisson, for example had invented electric light and thousands other inventions like telegraph machine beyond his own peoples expectations. He achieved his goal after several unsuccessful attempts which took many years, trials and errors.
We often set goals which we believe are achievable and desirable. Yet we sometimes fail to achieve them. We find the process of realizing these goals arduous and painful, so we give up. Lack of confidence and fear of taking chance are other reasons for our defeat.
Most individuals have their own way of achieving goals. Some people agree putting their goals down on a pierce of paper is one way of assessing the task involved in achieving them. It is common for people to write their new year resolution in a brand new diary. Writing our goals commits us to them and they also serve as motivating remainders when we feel like giving up.
Another method that helps us achieve our goals is picturing ourselves having achieved
It.We imagine ourselves savouring the victory. Our sense of achievement would be very strong and lighten up. I would prefer the second method as it is more ideal.
Goals give directions to our lives. When we know what we want and acknowledge our limits, we make our life more meaningful and fulfilling. Besides raising our own self-esteem, it motivate others like our little brothers or sisters to follow in our footsteps.
Our mission for success lie in everything we do. So don’t wait for things to happen but make it happen.
Mmmmm, that will do for now. I’m so tired and till we meet again tata bye bye.

Easy Exercise Solution

EASY EXERCISE SOLUTION=If you think you won't see any real benefits from physical activity, think again.Regular exercise gives you more energy, reduces stress, and help you to sleep better. It helps to lower high blood pressure and improves blood cholesterol levels. It helps to tone your muscles, burns calories to help you lose extra pounds or maintain a healthy weight, and help control your appetite. It can also increase muscle strength, help your heart and lungs work more efficiently, and let you enjoy your life more fully......
There's more good news:You don't have to spend hours at gym to see results.Low-to-moderate intensity activities such as walking, stair climbing, yard work and dancing can have both short and long term benefits. If you are inactive, the key is to get started. One great way is to take a walk for 10 to15 minutes during your lunch break...At least 30 minutes of daily activity can help improve your heart health.
It take only a few minutes a day to become more physically active. If you don't have 30 minutes in your schedule, try find two 15 minutes period or even three 10 minutes periods. These exercise breaks will soon become a habit you can't live without.....

Once again we meet here at the same blog, same person but in different issue (^_^). Before that, Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslim. Hopefully this Syawal gives you lots of happy moment to be shared with others. Its still early today 10syawal 148h.so, everybody use your precious time to go and visit all your neighbours, relatives and friends .Malaysia is very rich in various kind of foods especially during Hari Raya such as ketupat, lemang, kuah kacang and also lots of ‘kuih raya’(^_^)yummy… but recently during first hari raya, I cannot forget when my family and I went to visit one of my father’s friend house, they had served western food and there is no hari raya foods.huhu.. When I ate it, its like you are visiting your friend house at foreign country and eating their western foods… I think that’s the moment that I cannot forget when the first time ate western foods during first hari raya. In Malaysia also, not only its various kind of food but also lots of open house along hari raya is opened to all Malaysians that at the same time increases the closeness and maintain the peace and harmony. This open house was a testimony to the Malaysian spirit of respecting each other’s culture. As for me, for other races, by visiting Muslim friends on this occasion, it will be able to forge a closer relationship. This is our uniqueness and I think we should continue to observe this because occasion like hari raya showed how much Malaysians cherished each other.

While celebrating this hari raya, not to forget our first Malaysian astronaut which is Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor went to the space and celebrate his first hari raya on space! At last, dr.muszaphar had made proud to Malaysia by being the first Malaysians went to space. Like what prime minister said that he is not in space to enjoy the view of earth below but has duties to fulfil while at the International Space Station. This also as one of the big step towards becoming a developed country, which we will be in 2020. Even thought that Dr Faiz is not the choosen one for the first group, but then, he will be send as the second person to join the space programmes of other countries. Congrats to both of them because had made proud to Malaysia (^_^) of course that dr muszaphar has lot of experiences that he like to share with Malaysians. We just wait and see and take it as the precious things that not that easy we can get it. I’m proud to be Malaysians(^_^)

at last, aisyah finally gave a good tips on how to study as a dental student:p actually when we talk about study, ourself must try to focus on what we are going to do.. for me i try to limit my time by studying 2hours only but sometimes there must be an obstacle while studying.. its normal because if we straight study without rest, there is no mean with what we have done.. our brain and body also need rest.. not too late here i want to say that i think that not more than 1month we will have an exam.. until now i still remember that when i had done group discussion with my friend, i felt very asleep but then i try to work hard, study and study..at last i don't know when i slept.. my friend just laugh at me..so embarrassing..huhuhu.. till today, when i want to study but suddenly i feeel very asleep, i just went to my bed and go to sleep:) actually how to study is depends on each person.. they have their own style on how to study.. so, from now on study smart not hard!! and not to forget good luck to all my friends to our final exam;) lets pray for both o our success.. -yuhana-

Hai everyone.......!!!

Drug??? I am also agree with Yana said that drug abuse is becoming a serious problem among students in Malaysia. The drug addiction trend is not only prevalent among school leavers but also among students. There are many people and organizations in our culture who are trying very hard to make sure that Drug Addiction is NOT seen as a disease or as the result of genetic or biological predisposition. These people have a strong personal and social interest in an entirely nonphysiological model of addictive human behavior. Their perspective of social problems is based primarily on a philosophical orientation with a social perspective, heralding socio-political correctness as its goal.

Throughout history, and from my observation also, a great many people and institutions have tried to help alcoholics and addicts. Currently, there are thousands of different programs in Malaysia trying to help those people who have a social or personal problem with drugs or alcohol. Yet, the success rate for these programs is extraordinarily low considering the effort and investment made.

There are countless reasons why these programs are not working, however the main reason is yet to be realized. Existing programs are not working because they're based on false assumptions of philosophy and human nature. They do not address the motivations and emotions of addictions.

Today, drug treatment and rehabilitation centers are typically operating on the belief that social or philosophical factors are causing the addictive behavior, and that if we could change an addict's belief system, or his social support structure we could end his addictive behavior. And yet, the success an individual attains, typically doesn't last as long as the treatment. This superficial view comes from our governmental and religious orientations which maintain that addiction is the result of bad personal choices, weak character, and anti-social or irreligious behaviors. The rehabilition centre also operating in some university to detect their student who are involve in drug addiction.

Sociologists, religious adherents, and government agents see addictive behavior as being criminal or sinful. These kinds of social judgments do little to help the addict, yet, they do cause harm, making the addict feel shameful, weak, or helpless. Suddenly he feels like a child who wets the bed, or cant control his impulse to explore, and then is shamed or punished. Trying to demand or force a behavior which is in direct conflict with the natural drives and motivations of the individual is dangerous....Lastly,I hope that this serious problem can be solved successfully and we as good student and have many friends must be alert on this issue....

That's all from me....
thank you...

HELLO Everyone ! Emm...It is not too late for me to wish Mdm Faridah and my friends, “SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI”
This is my third time posting a comment. Due to the issue brought up by Ying Ying on SHOULD homosexual marriage be legalised??? ... I would say that its must be legalised !!!
From the Statement of Affirmation and Reconciliation by the Quaker meeting in Aotearoa,
“Each individual's journey through life is unique. Some will make this journey alone, others in loving relationships - maybe in marriage or other forms of commitment. We need to ponder our own choices and try to understand the choices of others. Love has many shapes and colors and is not finite. It cannot be measured or defined in terms of sexual orientation."
From the statement above, it’s true that everyone has the rights to make their own choice and in accepting choices of others but it is considered as long as it is not against the religious practices. I believe that every religion have the reasons for prohibiting things that may lead to harm.
Marriage is a social recognition and approval..of a couple's engaging in sexual intercourse and bearing and rearing children.. it’s mean that the heterosexual unions provide the procreative foundation of the family unit that is the chief social building block of civilization. Just like what Ying Ying had mentioned, marriage is more than recognising people who love each other and want to spend their lives together. Through marriage, the society marks out the relationship of two people who will together transmit human life to the next generation and nurture and protect that life and without a shadow of doubt, homosexual marriage wouldn't ensure that..
The point that homosexual partnership is inherently sterile as no one can neither choose nor change their sexual orientation. It is against the marriage concept on bearing and rearing children for the next generation. Can we imagine the world without kids? Or abandon partners with the same sex? I’m sure it will be horrify looking at the couples. Of course it’s not a good practice and values that can be shown to the children. What will they think about it? Just ask ourselves, do we want the children to follow that bad attitude? Obviously it’s against the religious practices and indirectly against God’s creation. God had created us as what we should be. We shouldn’t change the fact.

I ‘m not really understood with Brian. He doesn’t agree and not oppose homosexual marriage as their lifestyle is out of the norm and it is indeed ethically wrong. But later he said that he don’t want to be one sided and just follow the flow. In my opinion, yes it’s true that we don’t have the rights to judge them as all of us are the creation of god. But as a human we are responsible to fix what is wrong and prevent thing that is not right.

Well, this is what I think and my opinion regarding this issue. I’m sure that other peoples have their own opinion. Till then, thank you. Have a nice day! -NIK FATIN SARAH A116830-

ORGAN DONATION

Organ donation is the removal of the organs or tissues of the human body from a person who has recently died, or from a living donor, for the purpose of transplanting them into other persons. People of all ages may be organ and tissue donors. Organ and tissue donation is the ultimate humanitarian act of charity.

The commonly transplanted organs are kidneys, heart, liver, lungs and pancreas
(currently no pancreas transplant has been done in Malaysia) while the transplantable tissues are cornea (eyes), arteries or veins, intestines, tendons, ligaments ,bones, skin and heart valves.

There are two sources of organ donation, which are from the living donors or from cadaveric donors. Most living donors were closely related to the
recipient, usually family members. Such close relatives were likely to have
close tissue match to the recipient, resulting in excellent outcomes. It is now possible to achieve similar outcomes using living
donors who are unrelated to the recipient, but only emotionally related such as
spouses are sometimes found to have a compatible blood group and tissue
match to the potential recipient, with the advent of improved immunosuppressive medications (anti-rejection medications).

Other than that, organs from cadaveric donors are allocated to the best tissue matched patients on the transplant waiting list. Potential cadaveric donors with a history of cancer or transmissible viruses such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV are not considered for organ donation. There are 2 sources of cadaveric donors, which are the heart-beating donors and the non heart-beating donors.

The heart-beating donors have suffered severe trauma to the brain. These patients must be ventilated in an intensive care unit and medically certified as 'brain stem" dead (meaning that all functions of the brain have ceased), in order to be considered as organ donors. In other words, life cannot be sustained. Heart beat and lung function are artificially maintained by a respirator. Heart, kidney and liver transplants are only possible from heart beating donors. For non heart-beating donors, tissue such as cornea (eye), skin and heart valves are donated. These tissues can only be procured after cardiac death.

However, there are more advantages of receiving organs or tissues from living donors. Firstly, it reduces time dependent on dialysis, particularly important for diabetics and young children. It also allows for specific planning of operation(the best time for donor and recipient). Moreover, the recipient requires less immunosuppressive drugs, therefore having fewer side effects. Lastly, it is more likely to be successful if the donor is related to the recipient.

hai..

Salam and hello to everyone…..!!!!

Today I want to share with all of you some tips to study. Maybe most of you have your own study style and maybe this is your secret how you success in your study. As we know, the dentistry course needs us to study more than our expectation. We need to study like a medical doctor although we just see teeth in our future occupation. So we need a good study technique in order to pass the entire exam with flying colors.

Try to make your study table as a conducive place to study. Get away all the mess that will make become uncomfortable. Make your table tidy and just put the book that you want to study. Put other heavy and thick book at your rack. When your study table is not in a good condition, you can focus on what you are studies, unless you are a messy person.

Many of us like to listening a radio while studying. I don’t care you are listening fly.fm. hot.fm ,era.fm or your own mp3… as long as you are listening a music. I have read in some book that told us about the badness to listening music while studying. He said that our brain can not focus and accept that entire thing we are read effectively. But we can listen a music that has no voice of singer,I mean here, only a tone of music equipment. It will relax your mind. For Muslim, it is better to listening the Al Quran while you are studying. It will help you to memorize better.

While you are studying, try to take more attention with the parts which are not understood. Read with your own first and then try to discuss with your friend. This is important to make sure that you are not misunderstood with what you have reads before. Jot some key words and important point and this will not make you miss that thing when you revise it again.

Don’t forget to take some rest while you are studying. Take a rest about 5 to 10 minutes to relax your mind. You can take a short nap or make some activity that will refresh your mind. Our brain also need to rest. I want to give some advice to all of you….”don’t sleep while your ear are listening a radio”. Your body is rest, but your brain needs to work to interpret what you are listen.

You need to choose the best time to study. The best time to study is at the morning after you wake up from the sleep. Your brain is much active and you can digest what you have read easily. Don’t stay at night because we need enough sleep. Try to sleep early and also wake up early at the morning. But, this is depends on person, some like to study at night, some like to study at day. No matter what time, as long as you can study properly.

Last but not least, don’t easily give up while studying because we need to taste the bitter first, then you will taste how sweet it later. Nothing is easy in this world, we need to compete to get the best..so, wake up my friend. Are you still dreaming????
~aisyah~

hellloooo....

Salam and hello to everyone…

I don’t know to write about what in our blog. This is bcoz it is a long time I didn’t open our blog..hehe its may about a month..i just want to share with all of you about our national issue which is the problem that are very common in every student nowadays.
The problem is they like to play truant..in easy words, they don’t want to go to school anymore.

If we look back to our old generation, only a few of people can go to school which their family able to send them to the school. Unfortunately, our millennium generation are prefer to stay at home or go to everywhere than go to the school. They don’t like to go to school anymore although their parents had paid a lots of money to send them to school..
How could this happen? Everybody knows that education is important in order to get a bright future. There are some reasons why nowadays many students like to play truant.

One of the reasons is most of them have not interest to study anymore. They think study is useless and they can replace their time to study with other activity which is more exciting like surfing internet and playing games. Maybe their parents have enough money and they think it is adequate to support them until they become old. If they have no more interest to study, how could they accept all the things that teacher teach them at school? Thye will not pay attention during the class. Teacher need play an important role to make them more interest to study. They should make the academic session will become more exciting and more student will pay more attention.

Besides that, their parents also don’t take care about their children. Most of them are busy with their work and don’t have enough time to discuss any problems with their children.
Most of the student which is still growing and not matured anymore needs full attention of their parents. They need a lot of love and take care. If their parents are busy to work and have no time to spend with their children, their children will become out of hand.
Therefore, parents need to become more responsible in train their children.

Moreover, most of the student like to play truant because the education system is quite burden to them. Many things need to study in short time. This will cause them become stress and give up to study. Our ministry of education need to investigate about the education system and improve it to make sure it is suitable to the level of each student.

The last reasons which I can include here is the influence of friends. Besides teacher and parents, fried also play an important role in character the student attitude. If they find good friends, the percentage of the student to become a good student is also high. They will like to go to school to be friend with other. Besides that, they are some bully cases in school and this will cause student afraid to attend the class. The bully case is very familiar with the junior and senior.

Before I finish, I hope my entire friend didn’t play truant. We as the university students is matured enough to think which is good and which is bad. Just attend the class and we will get the benefits for aou whole life..~aisyah~(“,)…

drug addiction

Hai everybody, and first of all for the Muslim I want to wish Happy Raya Day and I hope all of you have enjoy your Raya break. As my tradition need I to visit my relatives during Hari Raya, the last 3 days I was visit my hometown and I heard many problems of drug addiction especially in Felda areas like my hometown. Here I want to share my opinion about this problem.
Drug abuse is becoming a serious problem among students in Malaysia. The number of students who take drugs has increased tremendously over the last few years.
How can we recognize drug addict? There are many symptoms of drug addiction. The drug addict normally loses weight and has red, watery eyes and a running nose. Sometimes you can see scratches and marks on his arm. He will also feel very tired most of the time.
There are many effects of drug addiction. The addict usually gets sick because he has no apatite and doesn’t eat enough. He may also have difficulty remembering things, or even concentrating on anything as he cannot think clearly. Continued drug addiction can even caused death. Many young people have died because of drug abuse.
Some people feel that stress causes students to take drugs. They can’t cope with the pressure of school work so they take drugs. Many parents too expect excellent examination results from their children and this causes more stress. The students are also very easily influenced by their friends. They listen to their friends and do what their friends do. Many students have become addicts because they follow their friends. Parents are also to blame for this problem. They are too busy at work or lead active social lives. Thus they don’t spend enough time with their children and so the children feel neglected and unwanted.
Schools do warn the students about the dangers of dangers of drug abuse. However, the mass-media and parents should also do their part to control the spread of drug abuse.-yana-

However, the mass-media and parents should also do their part to control the spread of drug abuse.

Ying Ying put out an interesting issue. After all, it is the most talked about issue, not just in Malaysia but also in some other countries out there. Yes, no doubts about it, there are homosexuals in Malaysia. “Should we or should we not accept them in our society?” is a question whose answers differ from one individual from another.

My answer would be, “Why not?”

I am a creation of God and I am merely one out of His zillion creations. I don’t feel that I have the rights to judge. They too, are like me, a fellow creation of God. Whatever they did in their lifetime is their business with Him, none of mine, none of yours.

It’s no doubt that their lifestyle is out of the norm and it is indeed ethically wrong, but they decided on the lifestyle and there’s nothing that we can do about it. I don’t agree with what they are doing and at the same time, I don’t oppose them, it just came to me that I’ve reached a point where I don’t want to be one sided and just follow the flow, whatever that means….

About MERDEKA, not of us will ever be MERDEKA, till you decide to be MERDEKA. At our recent point, none of us are. MERDEKA is a country which doesn’t recognize Malay, Chinese, Indian, Dayak, Kadazan Dusun or any other races but rather sees everyone equal but I don’t see this being practice in Malaysia. I myself admit that I can easily get lost in this wrong doing especially when I meet my fellowmen, the Bidayuh.

To be truly MERDEKA takes time. Peace out……

homosexual marriage-cannot be happened

Hello!!!

According to the issue that has been raised by ying ying, I totally disagree that the homosexual marriage should be legalised. Can you imagine what will happen if homosexual marriage is being practiced in our country widely??? Oh man, that would create such a big problem to our society especially from religious view.

Children existence is very important for the development of a country. It means there always continuation of generation. The young replace the old one. This is supported by Tun Dr Mahathir in ‘Vision 2020’ that has been stated that Malaysian population has to reach the target of 70 million at that time. When there are enough workforces to manage the country, so it becomes easier for the country to move ahead in the era of globalization. Moreover, the process of development will do not stop as it always being continue. So, how would this target to be achieved when people are practicing the homosexual marriage? It such a nightmare to live in a poor country and everything do not be in perfect way. As you all know, to produce a baby, there have to undergo fertilization process between the sperm from the male and the egg from the female. If homosexual marriage occur, so this will decrease the number of population. The country would not develop and thus, we are left behind from other country.

Furthermore, any religion in the world is forbid the homosexual marriage. The main reason why it is illegal because may cause some diseases to people who are in charge with this matter. The fact is that men and women always needed between each other. There are few things that men can do which the women cannot, and vice versa. For example, men cannot deliver a baby, but the women can. In addition, people will give a negative thinking towards this matter. Those who are involving with the homosexual marriage normally being isolated from the society as it is against the normal situation. This thing could be accepted among the westerner, maybe, but for the easterner, it is unusual thing.

Related to the Malaysian, since that the Merdeka day is just around the corner, so lets we allow ourselves to think for a while in what we have contributed to the Malaysia. We should be grateful to live in a harmonious country that being conducted by wise leaders. Since that this year is the 50th year annual celebration of merdeka day, we have to maintain the ‘big and meaningful’ victory that has been achieved by our ancestors. We should support the government efforts in making the celebration for this year is meaningful and grand fully to appreciate the old people who have sacrificed their life just to get free form foreign power who have lead our country in misrule way…..

K la, sorry for take such big space. Till we meet again….da…. @_@

are we really merdeka???!!! by airina

MERDEKA! MERDEKA!MERDEKA!!!
that what people always shout when national day coming.
Not forgot to sing, " tanggal tiga puluh satu, bulan lapan lima puluh tujuh..."

MERDEKA!!!..that mean that all over Malaysia the Malaysian people will celebrate the day that our nation achieve it's independence...the goverment had always been about reminding us about the hardship that our forefathers had to endure to achieve this freedom that we have now...but the things is do they really think that today generation feel the same way about merdeka...

I mean now we have been free for 50 years...an entirely new generation had emerge..the new milenium generation...and belive me..we never had felt the hardship that our former generation felt...in those day a luxurious meal is ubi kayu (yam) with same coconut shaving and sambal.....today....hah!!!those foods are consider for those really poor peoples....the luxury food is all the great food from the hotels..and great restorans also some really great food stalls....do you see the difference...

don't fight the goverment....you can't voice out your opinion about how the british goverment treat the Malaysian people...and oh so much more!! but this day there's no way that the goverment can shut the people up..if the goverment try to do something to restrict it..heaven forbid..they are going to hear all about this rights and that rights......There's many different things that is happening now that we really can't relate to the people that had sacrifice a lot to free the Malaysian.I mean we don't have to worry about our life now like they used to...and we didn't sacrifice our life for this cause......honestly saying I don't think my generation can relate to the hardship before...

so I think the only think we think about merdeka is that there will be a HUGE concert and fireworks later on...is this really what they should aspect everytime Merdeka time come around...?of course they will show this movies and tv series about the hardship they endure to achieve Merdeka....but really like we don't have other chanels to switch to...cause really those movies are sometime so boring....

I don't think we will know how they felt unless.....the goverment shut off the electricity for the whole night and no one can eat anything else except ubi....they also can't go out at night and they will be heavily punnish if they disobey any of the above mention rules.....hah!!! how's that....

SO, ARE WE REALLY MERDEKA???
answer yourself =)

ptptn on-line....such a miserable!!!!!

Hello everybody!!! Nice to meet you guys in this blog….It has been a month we have been dental students, so what do you think?? Is it fun or miserable? Only you know the answer.. hehehehe..^-^

Hmm…ptptn on-line application??? Huh, such a miserable thing that I have ever been through. I really hate the word by ‘on-line’. So here, I strongly and strictly agree that the ptptn on-line application should be banned temporarily until it is conveniently enough to be used by people especially among students. With me, I have a few reasons to support my statement.
Firstly, since we know that everybody comes from different family background and yet, they have differ in way of life, so not people have at least a computer at their homes which is provided with the internet services. So, in order to apply for the ptptn loan, they have to go to the cyber café as the alternative way. They need to spend their time to go to the cyber café, and once they have been there, the web page cannot to be opened because the browser of the internet Explorer need to be more than 6.0 and above. Can you imagine how frustrated and tired they are, after they have spent money and time purposely for the ptptn, but nothing can do. It such a waste!
Okay, once we are able to get through the web, we have to fill the needed information. But, here is coming another problem. The completed form is unable to send.. This is happened to some of my friends and I. After we spent a few hours sit in front of the desktop, we are unable to do so. So, what is the problem now? There are a lot of people using the same web page, and it is difficult for us to open the web again.
Moreover, once the students are qualified enough to have the ptptn loan, they have to print out all those kind of documents themselves. There are a lot of pages needed and the students have to print out 4 sets each. If a printed paper cost about 30 cents, times with 80 printed pages, the total is RM24.00!! Plus, with the stamps that total is RM40.00, so it about a hundred that the students have to spend before get the ptptn loan money. For those who are come from poor family, where do they to get such big amount of money? I think it is necessary that the ptptn on-line application should be reconsider again due to the above factors. That is all from me. Until we meet again.
Bye

PTPTN

HELLO,happy merdeka!!!!..As we know the national day is coming soon.Anywhere, include town and village ,is decorataed with their own style to celebrates this meaningful day that belonging to all Malaysia "anak".About this ,i am happy to see throught it and no more comments about their style in celebrating national day.BUT, about PTPTN loan, i personally agree with it.so...Come on..Let us discuss about ptptn online application.Ptptn online is convenience for students which had computer at home. For those who don't have the computer, they also can apply at cyber cafe.I think that there are no more difficulty for those who wanna to apply ptptn loan.
why the ptptn so interesting and attracting among the applyer??IN my opinion, the PTPTN program actually proivide many benefit and advantages to those who have applied it.First, this is a future guaranty for those who want study at local univesity. The applyer no need to worry more about their eating fee or tuition fee. Likewise, this program help to solve the money problem faced among the student. With this , the student woud have more free time at paying attention at thier study...this program relatively act as a catalyst among applyer in helping them to facilitate thier study proceed.
Beside that, for those who are interested in ptptn loan ,they no need worry about thier applying process. This is because the qualification to get the ptptn loan is low. With other word ,the most of applyers can easily get the ptptn loan from goverment.IN my opnion, this goverment devices is meaningful and useful. Why i say that because it provide a good and wide opportunity to the poor students with excellent exam result to further thier study.....so that, thier dream can come truth with thier own efforts one day latter. In an additonal to this ,money problem is no yet a obstacle in futhering thier study either in local university or foreign college.
From the point given above, i personally ensured tha the advantages of ptptn loan is far more than its disadvantages. The goverment program is no an buisness exchange between student and goverment, actually it help to provide a comfortable way for uneversity student to solve thier money problem faced at their life and slightly help them in facilitating their study.
i think this is all my opinion about ptptn loan ,and other will agree with me .........

reply on merdeka day

yayaya....merdeka day is coming..tat means there will be a holiday, on friday somemore...that mean we can rest for 3 days straight forward..no worry..no critical reading class..(hahaha...sorry ya madam..just joking.:P).

From what i had observed, they youngster now of these are getting less patriotic comparing to their ancestors. Many of them just care to do their own thing and seldom involve themselves in the activities organized in purpose to make them know their country better.Even during merdeka day they prefer to stay at home and sleep rather than going outside and join the merdeka celebration, including me.

may be this is not the fault of the teenagers merely, still we have to blame the government for not making the celebration as interesting as possible, that mean the event is not able to capture the interest of teenagers to join and enjoy it.

In addition, the night before merdeka day is such a nightmare for everyone, especially chinese.this is the thing that actually happen at my hometown and my friends are the victims too,in fact many of the muarian chinese were beaten by those what we called 'patriotic fighter'. The thing is like that, the night before merdeka day there will be many gangs formed by the 'country lovers' aimed to beat those chinese that they meet on the road. Most of them will be riding motocycles or bicycles and they are all around 13 to 25 years old. They will wield their weapon on their hand which are mainly stick, or even parang. Then the victim will be beaten until they are satishfy. For my friend, that evening he just riding bicycle and passing by a gang of malays boys, then the boys suddenly lost their mind and use the sticks to beat him. He was injured then and was sent to hospital. Police report had been made but return with nothing. What i trying to say is,people are getting mad and they starting to misunderstand the meaning of merdeka day,the day that should be celebrate by all malaysian. And if this problem persist, that mean some of us still have to live in fear when the merdeka day is coming. What is the point that we celebrating national day and in the meanwhile many of us still have to hide and worry about our own safety??

In my opinion, all of the malaysian should be taught about the real meaning of national day and make them appreciate the existence of other races which are differ in religion, culture and skin colour. And the sejarah lesson shall not be conducted in such way whereby the students just memorizing all the points without appreciate the moral values behind. That mean the scheme of sejarah lesson should be changed so it will no longer become a sleeping class.

thank you for viewing my comment..^^And sorry if my post make anynone of u feel uncomfortable.

merdeka!merdeka!...........

HAI!HAI!....

31 AUGUST just around the corner....as teenager how far we know about our independent day....In my opinion, half of teenager today just know merdeka day on 31 AUGUST but do not know what happen before, using and after merdeka...how we reserve our peaceful after merdeka, how we help the goverment to upgrade quality of malaysians life so that no arguement and war occur between different race in Malaysia....not just upgrade the 'quantity of malaysians'..
However, teenager can feel the spirit of merdeka by learn and read book, magazine and article about Malaysia history...as we know,at secondary school, teenager will learn history subject...they learn about malays action on Malaya Union organization, the interaction between Malaysia and other country such as Indonesia,Filiphina,Thailand and others country, procession of Tunku Abdul Rahman and friends to London to get the independence....how i know?i used to learn history at secondary school too.....
Besides that, the good action and behaviour of teenager in communities can show teenager appreciate merdeka day!!!...if they make the trouble than cause arguement...their action lead to destroy the peaceful of Malaysia which started after merdeka.....let we think together what will happen if this situation occur!!!!.......
LOVE MALAYSIA...HAPPY 50th MERDEKA DAY

Disagreeing on homosexual marriage

Hi everyone!!

I would like to comment the issue of homosexual marriage should be legalised that has been posted by ying ying. In my opinion, I definitely disagree this issue because homosexual is one relationship that is against with our religion. This applies to all religion in the world. How can I say that?

Because we are living in this world with various type of races and also with only two genders ;female and male. From the religion aspect, female and male are suppose to be together and not with the same sex.So this homosexual relationship is opposite with our nature.

In addition, if we think in advance, who would be our next of the future if homosexual relationship should be encouraged...i mean how can people with the same sex will be able to produce offsprings...Think about it....

Just imagine, if there were no future generation, school can't be organised and executed for a long time.No schooling will result in no evolution of mind and civilisation to our human nature.
This is one of the examples of impact to the future should homosexual marriage be legalised and be supported.

Other than that, homosexuals relationships could damage the image of our country and the society. Society wise, it will decrease the number of functional families that will contribute in preserving the evolution of human...

I don't mean no harm to the homosexuals out there but I'm here only to express my opinion and possible suggestions to them. By exposing one self to religion knowledge one could determine what is right and wrong by the word of the God. It will give motivation to interact more with people specifically with other gender.

That will be all from me.
Thank you.

PTPTN ONLINE & HOMOSEXUAL

I still have some opinions and comments on the ptptn online application. As i know, the application of ptptn online was only introduced last year, 2006. So, the system is not very systematic and cause pressure for the applicants. It was very difficult and harder to access. The system is also very poor.

I think the manual way of application of the ptptn by using forms(OMR form) are better and easier. The computer system will screen the OMR form and all of our details will be saved in the system. However, the online system wants us to fill every single information about ourself, education, and the family background. I had wasted a lot of time in front of the computer just to fill those ptptn forms.

In my opinion, the ptptn officials can easily get every single information about the student who gets a place in the university directly from the Ministry of Higher Learning. This is because the application of ptptn can be done only after a student gets place in the university. Here with, the student have to enter only their name. ic number, address, and some important informations during the online application.

I also had applied for JPA scholarship because I do not know that ones a student get dental or medical course, the person will automatically get JPA. The online application of JPA is easier to access than the ptptn. We have to fill in only a few details.

Now, it's time to discuss about homosexual. This problem is common among the people in the western countries. On the other hand, Malaysian have their own culture, religion, and tradision. If this happen among Malaysian, then the community will look down on them. Homosexual is an abnormal behaviour and should not be followed.

POSTED BY>>>>>>DEVISRI<<<<<<<....(^.^)
Assalamualaikum and hai to everybody….

I am sorry for my belated response because I have some difficulties to enter this blog. Ok, straight forward to the topic, when I first saw the topic in this blog, honestly it was not attracted me at all because I have nothing to do with the ptptn loan. But when I think it deeply, it is quite important topic to discuss especially for student like us.

First of all, I think there are advantages and disadvantages of online application for ptptn loan. Some of the students feel this particular way is much convenient for them as they do not have to buy the form from selected institutions such as financial or educational institution like previously, but they are some problems they have to face when they are apply via online such as there are crowding when they want to submit the application form as they have limited period to do so. Besides, they do not know the status of their application form whether it has accepted by the ptptn department or not. So, I think the best thing to do is they serve both way; manual and online application.

For the second issue that have been posted by Ying Ying, I think this is common topic discussed in foreign countries but in this country it is quite sensitive issue to discus. Actually, I disagree to legalize the homosexual marriage in this country because our citizens really sensitive to religious aspect as this behavior are forbidden for all religions in this country I believe.. There are a lot of disadvantages due to this problem especially there will be the demolish of marriage institution as they cannot get the offspring from this type of marriage. The important thing about this problems is it can lead to the spreading of dangerous diseases such as AIDS which can brings to fatal.. So, I think it is better prevent than cure before this problem get worsen.

liyana zuhaili

assalamualaikum and hello everybody(^_^)

Huhu… at last, I finally did it!!
I still remember at the first time when I want to enter this blog, there are a lot of problems that I had to face… but actually… I just only forgot the blog’s address, that’s all (^_^) but today, I finally can enter this blog..but before this there is also a problem with the internet connection here. huhu... After I had gone through all the issues in our blog, especially the PTPTN issue, there are a lot of pros and cons there. And I feel sorry for others who had faced a lot of problem during applying PTPTN. My mom once said that there’s no need for me to apply PTPTN because at last we need to pay back with interest also… and she also said that many student before this did not finished paying back the loan. So…my mom said just let others take it…actually I felt afraid if I not apply the PTPTN because our course need a lot of money but now I realized that for me, there’s a lot of problem when applying PTPTN. At last, JPA came and I applied it but it took us to work with government about 10 years after we graduate soon. Well, I’ll try my best!

Ok, finish about PTPTN. Now, I want to give a response on Ying Ying issue. Her issue is quite interesting to be shared with us especially nowadays we can see that many homosexual people out there. huhu… if I’m not mistaken, in Britain, their country had done this before, I mean the homosexual marriage. For me, I think that homosexual marriage should be banned because for the long term effect, there will be no more truly gender appear…huhu (^_^) but recently, I had read one article about Angelina Jolie that I think she can be categorized as bisexual person. This is due to what she said that before she live together with Brad Pitt, she was attracted to a woman which if I’m not mistaken that woman is a model and she enjoyed ‘sleep’ with that woman. So what do you think about bisexual person? Isn’t that weird? Well, different people have different thinking. So think about it (^_^)

Last but not least, Malaysians will be celebrating their 50th Merdeka anniversary soon. How far teenagers nowadays know the right meaning of ‘Independence Day’? Is it just going to KLCC and said ‘MERDEKA!’ at 12o’clock? I think it is important for us especially teenagers nowadays that we should appreciate what our country had done to get free from colonist before this. This also important for the next generation to know the history of Independence Day from us on how we can still live harmony with various races. I think thats all for today… till then pen off…. ptptn on-line application have advantage & disadvantage....

Assalammualaikum and hai to everybody........

i am sure that other blogger never read my writing before this...because this is my !st time to give my opinion in wonderful blog...i am so happy and proud to posting here!!!!!.......:>...ok,today i want to share my opinion on ptptn on-line application because it looks like interesting topic for me as student to talk about...
emmm...as we know, ptptn is 1st choice for who want reject the JPA scholarship...$$$$...eventhough i get JPA,i think ptptn on-line application still have advantages & disadvantages..he..he..

ADVANTAGE
  • Efficient and Fast-it is efficient because the application not easy to missing from registration information...it is fast because to fill the form just take 15-30 minutes and not need to post the form..
  • The form is simple and have the guideline for fill the form...

DISADVANTAGE- coverage problem, stress to find the web and waste the money because cybercafe payment and we need to print many form from web.....

( DILA ) :)

PTPTN LOAN??

Come on..Let us discuss about ptptn online application.Ptptn online is convenience for students which had computer at home.Because it can save time, energy and money.. For expample..we can stay at home or cyber cafe apply for ptptn loan and not need go to post office for buy stamp or envelopes.. nowadays,we should learn more about computer techonology because government has provide us a lot of convenience through internet..like online paying bill, online checking bank account even is online shopping..so that it is no reason for students don't know use computer and internet too..Beside that.. online application is more safe and fast..us information will not easy expose to strange and will not easy missing during the process of apply.I was applied ptptn loan through online last time but i faced many problem during the online application.. like the system is slow and cannot log in the wedsite of ptptn.. i was stay up in order to log in the wedsite and get a lot of problem when fill the online form..many student prefer the JPA scholarship by the government because they found it was hard and unconvenience to apply ptptn loan..ok.. that all. thank for reading.. (@.@) Qing
HI !! (@_@) – I'm NIK -
This is my opinion based on the article of PTPTN online application…May you have a pleasant moment when reading it…
Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi ( PTPTN ) is one of the source of financial for students in order to support their studies. As we all know a quite large of money is needed for the fees payment as well as for the life cost in university. That is why most of the students prefer to apply for PTPTN. Usually, students choose PTPTN as their second choice after they failed to get the scholarship.
Actually, I am not applying for PTPTN but through what I heard from my friends, PTPTN had caused a lot of trouble to the students. There are many complaints especially from parents and students regarding the PTPTN management.
One of the main problems is that the slow of network connection when the applicant surf for the PTPTN website. Normally this problem occurs due to the crowded of people trying to surf for the website at the same time. The network is always busy and this lead to the difficulties for students to complete the application form in a given time. I had read the article on complaint in newspaper. Parents of one of the applicant had complained about the difficulty of using online application. They also suggest that the PTPTN administration should provide online application as well as manual way to apply the PTPTN for the next time so that the applicants can adapt first with online application. Besides that, in my opinion there will be a problem for the applicants from the rural area to apply if there is only one way of application as there is limited or no internet coverage in this area. They may not be able to apply online.
PTPTN also consume a lot of student’s time. I had observed the situation where the students had to queue up for hours just only to submit the application forms. The PTPTN administration should give attention to this problem they should provide more peoples to work on it. What my friend had experienced is she had to queue up for two hours for nothing. Even though, she had waited for hours, she had to submit the application form for the next day as she had to attend the lecture.
Regarding to this problem, I suggest that the PTPTN administration should give attention to this problem and take a prompt action so that everyone will be satisfied.

Homosexual Marriage?? Isn't it LOVE tat matters??

Well...sorry for the delay of posting my opinion...due to some technical error...Ha:-)

Regarding to the issue tat was post by Ying Ying..." should homosexual marriage be legalised "...Personally, I do not agree wif the issue itself...I have been "approving" homosexual marriage since a long time ago, gay or lesbian, u name it...True, as Ying Ying has mentioned, tat marriage is a social recognition and approval...of a couple's engaging in sexual intercourse and bearing and rearing children...so, as v were taught, or v could say it is a norm of the society, tat marriage should involve a full grown man n woman who LOVE each other...hence, when v come across the word "homosexual relationship", usually v would feel tat it is filthy, loathing, and thus, rejecting...v would feel tat the person involved in the relationship are abnormal, juz bcoz their love one's is having the same sex wif him or her...Tis is totally unfair!! Why, I wonder, do v discriminate them, as they r also a human being like us, equally contributing their part in the society's development?? Do v have the right to judge a person by their behaviour?? In this case, i would say tat every1 of us, yes, including you who r sitting in front of the computer n reading this blog, have our very own dark secrets ourselves, unknown to others...These r secrets tat should not be reveal bcoz some of it will spoil the person's imej n credit...wat i'm trying to say is, if v were to judge a person, plz judge urself 1st, for u do not have the right to do for u r as ugly inside as others...My apology if tis would offend those who read tis...it is not their fault for being homosexual...I have a few homosexual frenz once...this is the benefits of living in a city, u get to know a lot of fantastic people...they hate to be homosexual, hate to be different wif others...all they wan is the freedom to love someone like us...to kiss, to whisper soft words into the ears of their lover, or even having sex...is it a crime for them to be loved, though they r homosexual?? They r nice ppl, u would never sucess to point them out as a gay or lesbian in a crowd of ppl...they r juz like us...juz accept them as they are...

SHOULD homosexual marriage be legalised???

hi everyone..this is my 1st time posting a blog..i had read all d blog sent by my coursemates.i would like to raise up an issue as i think that d PTPTN issue is quite boring..so i guess it's d right time to bring in this issue-HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE..

Marriage is a social recognition and approval..of a couple's engaging in sexual intercourse and bearing and rearing children.maybe some will say that isn't marriage is just a way of recognising people who love each other and want to spend their lives together? The answer is NO..Marriage is more than that..Through marriage, the society marks out d relationship of 2 people who will together transmit human life to the next generation and nurture and protect that life..and without a shadow of doubt, homosexual marriage wouldn't ensure that..

But now d focus is"should homosexual marriage be legal?"We realise that everything in this entire world has its positive and negative consequences, and so is homosexual marriage..firstly we should consider that what might happen if it is legalised. On one hand, everyone would be able to marry whomever he or she wished..a couple who love each other could spent the rest of their lives together sanctioned legally by society..society would eventually begin to regard homosexual marriage as an acceptable way for people to live together..the society would also examine its attitudes and prejudices regarding homosexuality..Moreover,if one or the other partner left the relationship, there would be legal recourse for the division og property..

But on the other hand, marriage will become meaningless in a traditional sense..all of the laws regarding marriage would have to be changed..Society would be changed and this would be unsettling..

However,if homosexual marriage is not legalised, people might continue to live together without legal protection, leaving them vulnerable..their basic human rights are denied and society would continue to consider homosexaulity as unnatural and abnormal..And the most crucial fact is that couples would be denied the access to their partner's spousal benefits..From another point of view,it might be a good thing to do..The traditional form of marriage would survive and remain meaningful..It would also discourage homosexuality as their relationship is denied legally and this will preserve the harmony of the society..

Different people may have different kind of views on this issue.. any opinions and comments are welcomed..pls voice out your inner feelings about homosexual marriage..

hiiiii.....can i post an informal blog.......hehe..........is it ok pn faridah??...ermmm..about the ptptn on9 (online)application.....i dont know what to say...bcoz...in previous year we used to apply via OMR form if i'm not mistaken...i have forgotten about it....since i'm a repeater i don't have to apply for it again....but i paid back the loan via on9....its easier.....so i guess on9 is easier than filling a form...haha...but i agree with them that online application have both pros and cons....
in my opinion, by online there will be no problem such as missing the form because at the same time a lot of people are applying for it.....besides, the informaton will be send faster and so that you can also get the feedback faster...
i heard that you people had a lot of trouble applying it by online...i dont know......maybe the authority needs to improve their system so that it will more convenience for us...k...thats all...bubbye.....

Is the online ptptn applicantion convenient?

Hi, whatz up…I didn’t expect Yong to rise this issue. It’s such a bored topic. I don’t know much about the ptptn loan as I’ve been offered JPA scholarship by the government.
The online application has its own pros and cons. One of the advantages is that it is not time consuming and saves energy. One doesn’t have to queue up in the administration office to get the application form. All you have to do is just click the keys in computer.
Yet the con is that not everyone can access internet to apply online. As we acknowledge many of the applicants are of poor financial back ground and they may not have Internet connection. Besides that, they might be from country side, thus lack knowledge of information technology. Furthermore, some complain that they face difficulties while opening the page. For instance, the service jams or not some of the pages will be missing.
So, I would like to recommend that the authority provide both the online and also
manual forms to cater the need of applicants. Moreover, the authorized personals must give briefing on how to apply online in every secondary school and Matriculation College.
Till then sign off……Umaa.

You decide from BRIAN

I don't agree with PTPTN online application getting ban but I have a better proposal, use both method, online and via application form.

The main reason why the government start introducing online application is that it is faster and efficient, but it comes with its own cons where this system will only be efficient if the system is manage in the proper manner. A lot of things have to be put into consideration when it comes to online application. To illustrate, the server capacity, the rate of data transfer between server and the connecting computer, number of user at a time, connection speed and etc. etc. All this comes into consideration when it comes into making online application not troublesome.

Aside from making applications faster, online application is a big plus in the government office. They don't have to deal with tons and tons of hard copy application forms. Every little detail about the students are just a click away. Storage will be easy as there is no trouble in squeezing application form in tight spaces of the government office.

As we all know, not all places have internet connection and because of this, PTPTN applications via application forms should be left as an option. This will give underprivileged students who are deprived of internet connection to have the same option to apply for PTPTN loan.

With online application and application via post as open options, application would be faster, much faster than any of the method as the only option. There would not be any server overloading as some would go for the postal application and there won't be any problem in the office as not all would go by post.

So, please, don't ban online applications. After all, it is by this method that you are able to obtain a seat in UKM. Peace out!!

Hi…nice to meet all of you..=) this is my first time I visit our blog..huhu…look very greenish..simple but nice..i also want to put my personal comment about our h0t topic..PTPTN application..it is all about online application. Nowadays, everything need to be fast ,simple and easy. Most of people said that online application is easier than use the old OMR form. We do not need to waste our ink or our energy to post the form, just need simple clicks and a little typing, then our application will be received. However, this online application sometimes make our world become full of troubles. How can we do this online application if there is no internet facilities around us? This problems will be happened to the person who lived far from the city. They need to survive for the internet before they can go through the online application. Besides that, there will be many problems while using this online application. Some computers might be stucked and the internet online sometimes will be jammed because a lots of people use it at same time. So, the best way to solve this problems is use both method, online and form…haha..=)

PTPTN online is not effective!!!!

I really agree with all of the comments and points of view of the others. I had a terrible head ache when i am filling the ptptn form. There were a lot of information that we have to give and the system is very slow. I also faced many problems and difficulties during the online application. So, i have to ring the ptptn to seek for their help every time i have a problem. Sometimes, i feel that i want to give up and do not want to apply the ptptn loan. But, i can't do so because i'm having some financial problems. However, thank god. As a dental student i got the jpa which is more effective and easier to settle all of the requirements. Last but not least, i think the application using omr form is easier and time consuming.

ptptn online..by airina

It is true that the usage of internet to register ptptn is inconvenience especially for students that don't have any computer at home. Some of the students also do not know how to use the internet. But, in my opinion, if we look on the other side of it, it is the time for the students to learn more about technology. This is because, they must and need to use the computer and internet or otherwise they cannot apply for ptptn. As a result, they didn't get money for their study and waste their oppoturnity. Furthermore, nowadays there are many cyber cafes that can provide enough computer even at the rural area. So, it will not be a problem if the students say that they don't have computers. In addition, we also don't have to buy envelopes and stamps!!! Bearing in mind, future generation need to advance in technology otherwise we will be left out in the world of globalization. -airina-

That's right, we agree.... From NIK & UMA

We think that the online application for ptptn loan brings more disadvantages to the applicants.
The procedures are actually burdening the applicants as they need to prepare additional documents though the applicants have registered online. Furthermore, how many of the students can excess Internet? And do you know that student encounter a lot of problem during the application such as busy connection...therefore we recommend that the authorities of ptptn should take a prompt action regarding this inconvenience. AGREE OR DISAGREE..WITH PTPTN ONLINE APPLICATION ---by chia yong siang

As all of us know that, ptptn is one of the most popular organization formed by government to provide financial aid to those students which intend to continue their study at university.Undeniably it really makes the university students life much more easier as they carefree about the fees and so on that related to money matter, as the amount of money loan by ptptn is more than enough for students daily expenses, fees, and sufficient amount of money for them to buy books as revision. Here is the deal, the students have to pay back the loan after they graduate from university regardless whether they can find a job or not with the interest of 4%.Therefore, as stated above, PTPTN provide a convenient alternative for students and financial problem is no longer an excuse for both of us to be excluded from study in the university.

Before the existence of PTPTN online applicancy, University students that intend to borrow PTPTN loan must get the application form from the university administrator and they have to fill in and complete the form fully in handwriting. As i know that during that time although there are few complains that the manual PTPTN application is too troublesome as there are too many things to be fill in in the form. But then this system had been used for many years without much obstacle and problem faced by our seniors.

Dramatically, everything had changed once the PTPTN administrator introduce the brand new online application for PTPTN loan during last year. The PTPTN had setup a web page and all the applicants can register their name in the webpage and print out the application form and contract after they were shortlisted and qualified to have the loan. But then it was not necessarily for the students to register online, they stil had the option to choose register manually.

As the time goes on, it becomes a must for students to apply PTPTN online and it happens during our batch. Both of us,willing or unwillingly have to create an account at PTPTN website before we enter university in order to register for PTPTN.It was quite chaotic at that particular time because the PTPTN doesnt send us any formal letter and tell us that we must apply PTPTN via online. As for me, my friend sms me and inform me bout this. That time i was thinking, what about those people that unable to receive any news from their friends?Won't it be unfair for them??

And then, for those who successfully create an online account at PTPTN page, they might meet with these following problems
1.after register they unable to login their own account, and there stated the ic number had been used by others.

2.the ptptn id, which referred as password and provided by UPU, is 13 characters long, but then the login site only accept 12 characters long password.(it is absurd)

3.Students must key in their SPM result, whereas the page only able to show 10 of their result, and the rest are embedded somewhere.

4.Matriks student have to crack their head and find the location to key in their matriks details and results.

5. etc

congrates for those who able to pass through these obstacles, and here come another trouble.

The PTPTN administrator sent speaker to the campus all over malaysia to explain and brief to the students about how to fill the contract and so on. Everybody concentrate and listen to them and write down every important points, and most of us actually follow the instruction.

During the day when the officer come and collect the contracts, everyone is panick when there are few addition things that they have to add inside their contracts, and otherwise their application will not be considered.Things came to worst when students have to queue up for ages just to passup their contracts. Sad to say that there are many forms being rejected and there are students who queue and queue and queue to passup his form as his form had been rejected for 8 times. For university students time is very important, why PTPTN only sends a few officer there to collect and check thousands of application forms?Consequently, the whole process becomes dull and not productive.

All in all, personally i strongly recommend that PTPTN online application should be banned for a while and reintroduce to us after they overcome all the problems in order to reduce unneccessary time and energy wasting.

Sincerely i hope all of you will post your comment about this topic..thank you.^^V
